Our history dates back from the 30’s. Albert Fouquet was the creator of Eight & Bob. Son of a Parisian aristocrat, his passion was to elaborate perfumes for his own personal use. Discover the full history reading our History page or by watching our video.

At Eight & Bob, each creation is crafted with the utmost devotion — and we wish your experience to embody the same sense of refinement and ease. Should you wish to return your purchase, we are pleased to offer complimentary returns within 30 days from the date of delivery. For more details, please consult our Return & Refund Policy page.

Yes, your personal information including name, email address, billing and delivery address when applicable is securely stored in our e-commerce database with SSL 128-bit encryption. This information is available for future orders when logging in, so that you do not have to type it again when you come back and shop with us. Credit card information is not stored.  

On the other hand, if you agree to receive our communications we will keep your information only for this use.

Albert Fouquet, the son of a Parisian aristocrat, was part of the elite French society in the early twentieth century and a perfume connoisseur. In a room on the upper floor of the family chateau, Fouquet created and perfected various essences for his own personal use, aided by Philippe, the family butler.

In the 1930s, Albert Fouquet — a Parisian aristocrat and perfumer — created a fragrance so distinctive that it captivated a young John F. Kennedy during his travels in the French Riviera.

Kennedy requested several bottles for himself and his friends in America. Albert, with his customary wit, sent them labeled simply: “Eight & Bob.” — a reference to “eight” samples for Kennedy and “one for Bob,” his brother.

Thus, a discreet exchange between gentlemen became the beginning of an enduring legend — a fragrance house where elegance and heritage meet.
